Four Knights of the Apocalypse continues to get attention from fans, especially with its new arc. For those interested in watching it, they may be asking: Is Four Knights of the Apocalypse on Crunchyroll?
As a popular shonen series, this is a fair question as most of today’s popular titles are available on Crunchyroll.
Before watching this series though, anime fans will need to have seen The Seven Deadly Sins to get the best experience. That’s because Four Knights of the Apocalypse is a sequel that features returning characters.
Where to Watch The Seven Deadly Sins Anime
The Seven Deadly Sins anime began with season 1 back in October 2014. Since then, the series has gotten four seasons, with the final season serving as its finale.
This anime is an exception compared to many shonen anime titles, as it was not released on Crunchyroll. Instead, Netflix acquired the streaming rights to the series globally outside of Japan.
Netflix’s acquisition was a huge one when it was announced back in October 2015. That’s because Seven Deadly Sins was only Netflix’s second exclusive anime following the sci-fi anime Knights of Sidonia.
Since then, Netflix has expanded its anime portfolio, not to mention that it continued to be the exclusive streaming partner for future projects in the Seven Deadly Sins franchise.
For instance, the Grudge of Edinburgh movie was a Netflix exclusive, and it was streamed on the platform in December 2022 and August 2023 for parts 1 and 2, respectively.
As for the anime’s home video release, distribution was handled by Funimation, at least for the first season.

Is the Four Knights of the Apocalypse Anime on Crunchyroll? Listing Explained
As for Four Knights of the Apocalypse, some think that it’s the exception, as there’s a Crunchyroll listing for the series.
The listing is indeed there, but it’s not for the anime. Instead, Crunchyroll Store is selling copies of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga volume in English.
Meanwhile, the anime is not available on Crunchyroll. Instead, it is also a Netflix exclusive, much like the previous anime series and movies.
Netflix’s release was a bit unusual though. Despite the anime premiering in Japan in October 2023, the show was only released on Netflix officially in January 2024.
For now, the Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime continues to get new episodes. The manga is also ongoing, with new chapters being released on K Manga.
