Netflix released the Fear Street trilogy in 2020 based on the R.L. Stine’s horror novels. The first three movies made waves among its audience, and there have been rumors of a fourth Fear Street movie, but will it push through?

There is still no news whether or not Fear Street will have a fourth film in its franchise. In July 2022, Bloody Disgusting wrote about R.L. Stine’s interview with Yahoo where he shared his interest in making a fourth movie.

I…hear rumors about more Fear Street movies for Netflix, because the first ones did so well last summer. Those films kind of shocked me, because they were all R-rated, and I've never done anything R-rated! All those teenagers were getting slashed. I was like, 'Suddenly, I have a slasher movie!
