Is Ed in Netflix's Cowboy Bebop?

We're only a few days away from the premiere of Cowboy Bebop and people still have questions about the live-action series. For instance, is Ed going to appear in the new Netflix show? Although the young hacker has not yet been featured in the trailer, Cowboy Bebop may have confirmed that Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivruski IV will make an appearance in the adaptation!

Fans have been complaining about the absence of Radical Ed in Cowboy Bebop for some time now. After all, there has been no official announcement about who will play Ed in the show. In addition to that, the teasers and posters didn't show our favorite hacker.

So what are the chances that Ed will actually surprise us by showing up in the series? The official Twitter account for the Cowboy Bebop show has confirmed with a fan that they never said anything about Ed not being in the series.

It's an interesting tweet since there have been speculations that Ed is in the show but is being kept a secret. We're not sure why they are keeping Radical Ed's appearance a huge mystery and even voice actor Melissa Fahn is not yet certain how her character will be featured in the series. Nevertheless, we're hoping that we'll learn the truth this Friday.

Cowboy Bebop will star John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia. The first season of the show is expected to adapt the first few episodes of the anime. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that the series is not a scene-by-scene adaptation of the source material and could take a different direction.

The first season of Cowboy Bebop premieres on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
