While this isekai series has a manga adaptation, Chillin in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers began as a web novel that soon got published as a light novel series.
The first light novel volume was released in December 2016, and it has since gotten two volumes every year.
As of this article’s writing, the series now has 17 volumes. It has also sold over two million copies as of October 2023.
Even though it already has many volumes, the series is still ongoing. Volume 17 was only released on March 25, and there are no signs of the series ending anytime soon.
With the anime adaptation by J.C.Staff (of One-Punch Man season 2 fame), the series will likely become more popular, potentially leading to an increase in sales.

Is the Chillin in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers Manga Over? Status Explained
Before the anime, a manga adaptation began serialization in January 2019. The manga has since gotten nine volumes.
So, is the manga adaptation over? No, the manga continues to get new chapters. These new chapters are released in Japan in Comic Gardo, a manga magazine that also carries titles such as 7th Time Loop.
The manga also gets volume releases regularly, with its ninth volume being released on March 25, the same day as the latest light novel volume.

Where to Read the Chillin in Another World Manga and Light Novels
Isekai fans who can’t wait to find out what happens in the story can read both the light novel and manga in English, as both works are published in North America, albeit by different publishers.
The light novel volumes are published by J-Novel Club. Meanwhile, the manga is published by Seven Seas Entertainment.
As for the anime, new episodes are released weekly on Crunchyroll in the US and other select regions.
