Is BossLogic Teasing Injustice 3 (With Watchmen) for DC's Fandome Event?

Are we getting an Injustice 3 announcement during the DC Fandome event? That's what fans were asking themselves when fan-favorite artist BossLogic posted a logo of this imaginary (for now) game while tagging Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, who also helped with the DC fighting series. I say fans "were" talking about it because the artist has since posted a new image of Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen as part of the Injustice tease.

That's right, we could get an Injustice 3 announcement with Watchmen characters. That's going to go over well with fans (maybe?).

Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios, DC, and Warner Bros. have yet to say anything about a new Injustice game, with the only new thing coming from this franchise being the Year Zero comic. Still, Boon always said that he was open to a new installment from this franchise and we're sure that fans would love to see some sort of gameplay trailer for this beloved fighting game series.

It's gonna be hard to top the last game, which is an absolutely beautiful title that also has some solid fighting mechanics. Fans had mixed reactions when it came to grinding for gear but that did add plenty of replayability to the title, in addition to the excellent story mode, various offline modes, and playing online. Also, it had Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; guest stars who are hard to top.

Then again, we might have Watchmen characters so...

Will Injustice 3 be announced during DC's Fandome event? Is it coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X? Or will it stay on PS4 and Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below.
