Marvel's Ironheart: Anthony Ramos' Mysterious Role Reportedly Revealed

Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams is set to make her MCU debut in the upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before starring in her own solo series Ironheart, which is set to premiere next year. As usual, most of the plot details have been kept under wraps although we know that actors such as Anthony Ramos and Alden Ehrenreich are also part of the series.

Earlier this year, there were reports that Marvel Comics villain The Hood will show up in the series. In case you're not familiar, the character started as an average thief, but after he shoots a Demon and steals its magical cloak and boots, his entire life changes. The boot gave him superpowers such as levitation and invisibility. As "The Hood," he became a prominent figure in the New York criminal underworld and he formed his own syndicate.

Now, The Cosmic Circus has reported that they heard from their sources that Ramos was tapped to play The Hood in Ironheart and he is going to have a "key role" in the series. However, the information has not been confirmed yet by Marvel Studios so we have to take it with a grain of salt.

Considering the character description and its required athletic build for the actor, it is likely that the report is true since Ramos is qualified to play the role. The character is also well known in the comics and is speculated to have a major role in the franchise moving forward just like what Deadline hinted at when they reported Ramos' involvement in the series.

In addition, the report also claimed that they heard that the series might include flashbacks involving Riri Williams before the events of Wakanda Forever since there are scenes where she was kicked out of MIT and saving her funds to build her own Iron suit.

It is interesting to hear that Ramos is playing The Hood as it indicates that he will have a major presence in the series and gives us an idea of what the story will be. It would be curious to see how he'll exactly play into the plot of the series and in the entire overarching story of the MCU.
