Rachel Weisz will be playing the part of Melina Vostokoff in Black Widow, but if you know your comics history, you'll know that the character becomes the villain Iron Maiden. What's neat is, in the final trailer for Black Widow, we actually get to see Iron Maiden's mask in Melina's closet.

Though Taskmaster is said to be the villain of this film, we have yet to get any idea who's playing him, so you can bet that the main antagonist is someone we've already met in the trailers. Some are guessing that it's actually Melina in the Taskmaster suit, but with the final trailer introducing the element of mind control, I'm starting to think that the Taskmaster is just a tool that Melina is controlling for her own gains.
Again, I'm just spit-balling here, so it's possible that Marvel Studios has something else in mind. I'm just hoping that Marvel proves me wrong. If they wanted a superheroine-centric movie with a bad guy that was actually controlled by another woman pretending to be an ally, then they should have just checked out The Incredibles 2.
At birth, the Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanov) is given to the KGB, which grooms her to become its ultimate operative. When the U.S.S.R. breaks up, the government tries to kill her as the action moves to present-day New York, where she is a freelance operative.
Black Widow hits theaters May 1.
