Iron Fist Star Jessica Henwick Teases The Matrix 4 Update

We're still in the dark when it comes to The Matrix 4 considering that the details about the highly anticipated sequel have not yet been revealed. Luckily, Jessica Henwick is ready to hype up her latest project.

It's no secret that Henwick has been part of huge projects that require her to stay quiet. The Iron Fist star had previously worked on Game of Thrones and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Interestingly, Henwick was somehow tight-lipped when talking about The Matrix 4 with Comicbook.com but she sometimes fangirls on the set with co-star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

"There are definitely moment on set where Yahya and I look at each other and we just go, 'Matrix 4," Henwick said. "Those pinch me moments."

Henwick also confirmed that director Lana Wachowski is fully in charge of the movie and teases how the sequel will once again change cinema.

"Yeah. Lana is doing some really interesting things on a technical level in the same way that you know, she created a style back then. I think she's going to change the industry again with this film. There's some camera rigs that I've never seen before that we're using. That's probably all I can say for that," Henwick said.

We're not exactly surprised that Wachowski has something new to offer in the fourth Matrix film. For now, we're unsure what it is but we can't wait to find out.

The Matrix 4 will bring back Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss as Neo and Trinity, respectively. The film is currently scheduled for release on December 22, 2021.
