Iron Fist Season Two: Another Look At Typhoid Mary

Even with a poorly-received first season, fans are excited for the second season of Iron Fist. The new trailers have shown better action and an intriguing enough plot, not to mention the debut of the Misty Knight and Colleen Wing as a team aka the Daughters of the Dragon. Another reason fans are excited to see the movie is to see the first live-action version of Typhoid Mary, played by Star Trek: Into Darkness actress Alice Eve.

While the season premiere is still a few weeks away, the official Instagram account of Iron Fist has decided to share an official image of Eve as Typhoid Mary and, if we're being honest, it's not too impressive. She's in civilian clothes and is smiling normally so it appears that her more comic-accurate look is being saved for the show itself.

To be fair, the account does tease her two-faced nature, pointing out how "you never really know someone until you've seen both sides." It seems like Mary's struggle with her split personality will be a big part of the season and it could make for some intriguing storytelling.

Mary might not be the only Daredevil character we see in the show, as reports have claimed that Blindspot could be playing a role in the second season. This character is fairly new, debuting as Daredevil's protege a few years ago so seeing him introduced here, assuming the reports are true, will be quite the surprise.

Iron Fist season two premieres on Netflix on September 7.
