Iron Fist Season 2 Has A Major Tease For The Arrival Of The Fantastic Four

It looks like Marvel Studios isn't the only one preparing for the anticipated arrival of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and other Fox-owned mutants after Disney completes its merger with 20th Century Fox.

The second season of Iron Fist has just dropped a few exciting twists and reveals, one of which could set up the arrival of the Fantastic Four in the realm of the Marvel TV Netflix universe. Not only did fans see exciting changes to Iron Fist's (Finn Jones) power in the second season of the series, the show also left an Easter Egg that could hint the arrival of the Fantastic Four.

According to ComicBook.com, in the sixth episode of Iron Fist season 2, The Dragon Dies at Dawn, fans get to see the Daughters of the Dragon helping out Danny Rand after his rival Davos (Sacha Dhawan) steals the ancient power of the Iron Fist for himself by using an ancient ritual. Together with Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and Misty Knight (Simone Missick), Danny forms an alliance with the hired gun of Davos, Mary Walker.

Walker then leads Danny to a building to where Davos is going to be, and after the duel between the former Iron Fist and Davos ends with Danny getting beat black and blue, Walker calls an ambulance giving the address "42 Baxter!" to emergency responders.

It's pretty easy to miss the Easter egg, but Marvel comic book fans know that the "Baxter Building" serves as a major landmark in Marvel's New York City – the building being the home and base of operations of the Fantastic Four.

Could this Easter Egg have been a fun little gesture for the fanbase, or could it serve as a hint to the introduction of the Fantastic Four and the other mutants in the MCU?

Let's wait and see.

Iron Fist season 2 is available for screening on Netflix.
