Intriguing New Ahsoka Character Confirmed For Disney+ Live Show

Disney and Lucasfilm continue to expand Star Wars by soon releasing their next live-action TV show after The Mandalorian Season 3, which is Ahsoka. Little is known on what part of the story Ahsoka will feature, however, we have been receiving news on which characters are set to appear. Unfortunately, while Katee Sakchoff (who plays Bo-Katan) has yet to be handed a script, a new Star Wars character is appearing for the Disney+ live show.

Actor Mark Rolston was featured in a photo shared under Reddit by user FanTravis Korick, where Rolston has not only confirmed to be a part of the Ahsoka ensemble, but even his role, which happens to be a brand new Star Wars character named Captain Hale. Check out the images below:

While relatively not as popular as the rest of the Star Wars cast, it is worth mentioning that Mark Rolston is also known for his voice acting, and quite recently, as the voice actor for Senator Dagonet in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, which is kind of closely related to how the voice actors of Star Wars: Rebels inevitably led to being cast as the live version of the characters themselves.

Seeing as Captain Hale is a new character in the Star Wars universe, there is no full information yet on what his character's role is supposed to be. However, it is possible Captain Hale is an Imperial figure in the series. In terms of whether he's friend or foe, the timeline of Ahsoka matters more and there are reports indicating that Ahsoka will be a mid-season time jump.

Aside from Captain Hale, Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) are also set to make their appearances in Ahsoka.

The live-action Ahsoka show is currently slated to be released late this year on Disney+.
