A lot of people are curious on what Drew Goddard would bring to a X-Force movie, but they would probably get a clue watching a film of his coming out this year, Bad Times at the El Royale. A new trailer has been dropped, and it gives us some new footage as well as some more fantastically creepy Chris Hemsworth.
Here's the official description:
Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption... before everything goes to hell.
The movie boasts an incredibly talented cast which includes the likes of Jeff Bridges, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, and Cynthia Erivo. Parks and Recreation fans will also recognize Nick Offerman; let's also not forget the aforementioned Hemsworth.
The trailer looks fairly creepy, and I have to say, I'm getting more interested in the movie the more of it I see. My guess is that we start with all the characters coming together, then the film just slowly unravels each of the characters' hidden agendas.
Admittedly Goddard has done some pretty solid work with his films, and he's also been attached to a lot of other good projects. I'm sure Bad Times at the El Royale will be a fun ride.
