Cuphead has made waves several times now, being one of the best indie games out right now, getting a Netflix animated series, and now, having an original graphic novel. This seems pretty fitting since that vibrant art style needs to be seen as much as it can, no matter what form it takes. Dark Horse Comics announced that they would be releasing a graphic novel, which will tell new tales of the titular character and his friend Mugman.
According to the company's press release, the Cuphead graphic novel called Cuphead: Comic Capers and Curios will be written by Zack Keller, who wrote the book Death Head and was once involved with Telltale Games. To match the game's gorgeous 1930's art style, artist Shawn Dickinson was recruited, who drew some of the more recent Popeye comics.

Here's what the press release has to say about the graphic novel:
The fact that this is listed as vol. 1 means that we could be getting more graphic novels, which would be great. Dark Horse Comics has also released a number of well-liked Plants vs Zombies graphic novels so they aren't new to video game adaptations. Hopefully, Cuphead will be better.
Cuphead: Comic Capers and Curios will be coming out on June 17, 2020.
