There is good news because new set photos from the set of Indiana Jones 5 have been leaked online. The snaps showed Harrison Ford and Mads Mikkelsen filming in beautiful Italy.
According to reports, Indiana Jones 5 will be the last film with Harrison Ford as the titular character. It comes ten years after the previous movie was released to theaters, and that too took a long time to finish production.

Daily Mail UK recently released leaked set photos of Indiana Jones 5. In these images, fans were given a glimpse of their favorite old-time merchant, Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones. Ford is seen wearing his iconic leather jacket with the faded yellow button-up shite and grey pants, while Mikkelsen is sighted donning a bespoke grey suit and Panama hat.
It has been a while since we last saw Ford don his famous Indiana Jones character costume, and being able to see him wear his fedora hat brings back a lot of good memories. Currently, fans can only speculate so much as to what the plot of Indiana Jones 5 will be.
Most, if not all, fans know that Harrison will play Indiana Jones. But, what about Mikkelsen? His character is still out in the open. Others think he might be the villain in Indiana Jones 5.
Although 13 years have passed since Harrison Ford took up the titular role in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the Star Wars alum looks like he did not age a day. During the production, the actor got a shoulder injury, which gave rise to several rumors regarding the production of Indiana Jones 5 being halted for good.

Steven Spielberg announced that Indiana Jones 5 would no longer be under his direction. He has given the reigns to Logan director James Mangold. Spielberg revealed that he has very high regard for Mangold, who also co-wrote Ford v. Ferrari.
The release date of Indiana Jones 5 has been set to July 29, 2022. The film will also have a theatrical release.
