Indiana Jones 5 Finally Unveils Its First Trailer and Official Title

Lucasfilm has finally released the long-awaited first trailer for the fifth Indiana Jones film. Not only that, but they have also unveiled its official title: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The reveals were made during Disney's recent panel at Brazil's Comic Con Experience 2022 and were also released online shortly after.

The preview gave us our first look at the titular adventurer's final adventure on the big screen where we see him doing horseback riding around New York City in 1969, his team-up with new character Helena (played by Fleabag's Phoebe-Waller Bridge), a look at the return of John Rhys-Davies as Sallah, and flashback sequences where we saw our glimpse at the de-aged Harrison Ford.

It also gave us a lot of nostalgic feels as they showed Indiana Jones wearing his iconic fedora, cracking his whip, getting involved in chase sequences and train surfing, the use of John Williams' iconic theme, and of course, another fight against the Nazis. showed Indiana Jones wearing his iconic fedora, cracking his whip, get involved in chase sequences and train, the use and of course, another fight against the Nazis

Based on the trailer, it looks like the film will yet again deliver another fun and thrilling adventure to the audience just like what the previous entries did. It also has the classic Indiana Jones elements that the audiences are familiar with while also giving a new breath of fresh air considering that it's in a newer time period.

Ford also showed that, even at an older age, he can still kickass and whip his enemies as if no time has passed. The de-aging that they did on the actor also looks very impressive compared to the other projects that have used the technology as it looks accurate to his younger years in the original films.

This first trailer should excite fans who have been looking forward to this long-gestated final entry in the franchise. As for the title itself, it is hard to speculate its meaning right now until we see the film in its entirety.

James Mangold directed the film. The cast also includes Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are involved as executive producers.
