Incredibles 2 Blu-Ray Release Includes Original Short Focusing on Edna Mode and Jack-Jack

Incredibles 2 ended up being a huge success for Disney and Pixar, making a ton of money and getting plenty of praise from critics. The movie was also considered a worthy sequel to the first movie, even though there were a lot of fans who wanted to see a time skip for these characters.

One of the film's many highlights was Edna Mode, who once again stole every scene she was in with her sass and hilarious lines. Fans were happy to see more of her in the sequel and it was a treat seeing her babysit Jack-Jack, though the details of said babysitting weren't shown. Director Brad Bird was one step ahead of fans, revealing that a short about Edna's babysitting will be in the film's Blu-ray release.

Fans were probably expecting to see this short in a future Pixar film since a previous Incredibles short about the last time Jack-Jack was babysat was. Still, getting it as part of the Blu-ray release should be enough for hardcore fans to pick this up. It's definitely a nice incentive to have.

It seems like Jack-Jack babysitting scenes will always be like this for future Incredibles installments so we might be able to expect more shorts in the future. This is assuming more movies of the Parr family are made, considering how long it took the first sequel came out.

Incredibles 2 hits Blu-Ray on November 6.
