We already know that Lou Ferrigno isn't a big fan of how the Marvel Cinematic Universe has depicted the Hulk. However, the Incredible Hulk actor has once again spoken up about the new Hulk and he's still not happy about it.
Ferrigno recently spoke to FabTV about how using CGI isn't the right way to present the comic book character in film.
"Today you got all this CGI and everything. I don't know what direction the Hulk is going," Ferrigno said. "That's why a lot of people go back, they refer back to the series because it's more organic, more authentic." Ferrigno then continued by saying he isn't a fan of "the way it looks."
Ferrigno played the Green Guy alongside Bill Bixby's Bruce Banner in the 1978 TV series The Incredible Hulk and there is little doubt that both actors worked very hard to bring the character to life. With that in mind, Ferrigno claims that the MCU Hulk has nothing on what he and Bixby have done for the show.
"Because it's CGI, and nothing can replace what Bill Bixby and I did," he said. "And the way Disney is shaping it, I'm not very impressed with it."
This isn't the first time that Ferrigno has spoken up against the new Hulk. He has previously stated that he isn't impressed with what Marvel has done with the character although he pointed out that he had nothing against Mark Ruffalo.
It's still unclear if the Hulk will be back in future MCU films. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
