In the Land of Leadale Episode 9 Recap
In the Land of Leadale is an isekai anime that follows a girl named Keina, who is on life support after being involved in an accident. Keina finds solace in an RPG game that takes her to the fictional world of Leadale. When a power outage shuts down her life support, killing her, she wakes up in Leadale, in the body of her avatar.
Now a half-elf named Cayna, the protagonist is excited to explore her favorite world - at least until she realizes it isn't quite the land she remembered. 200 years have passed in Leadale since her last login, and Leadale is now facing the aftermath of devastating wars.
In the Land of Leadale Episode 9 features Cayna well settled into the village, much to the inhabitants' joy. Later, she goes on to investigate a mysterious song coming from the village well, only to find a mermaid has been transported there against her will through a portal!
Cayna erects a bathhouse to shelter her new friend. She then sets out for Felskelio's capital to join an expedition by the Felskelio knights, against the bandits Cohler mentioned in an earlier episode. Due to Shining Saber's gallant behavior towards Cayna, the party begins to assume the two are in love.
After the expedition, Cayna makes her way to the village, only to find out that it is being plagued by life-draining fog and zombies. What now?

In the Land of Leadale Episode 10 is coming out on Wednesday, March 9, on Crunchyroll. Subscribed users can watch it on the day it comes out. The rest will have to wait an extra week, until the 16th of Match, and there'll be some ads.
