HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC founder Bang Si Hyuk is reportedly the one who acquired Trevor Noah's Bel-Air mansion.

Trevor Noah bought the 11,400-square feet estate in 2020 for $27.5 million. Reports soon revealed that a mysterious buyer had already closed the deal with the comedian.

HYBE Big Boss Bang Si Hyuk Buys Trevor Noah's Bel-Air Mansion

TheRealDeal (via Korea Daily) confirmed Bang Si Hyuk's acquisition and revealed that the music mogul secured the property for a whopping $26.4 million. The initial asking price was $29.8 million, per the report.

Famous architect Mark Rios designed the mansion, which was even featured in the 2017 issue of Architectural Digest. The modern-style property boasts an infinity pool, a Japanese-style spa, an open-air pavilion, wine rooms, and more features.

The mansion has a separate gated entrance for staff and vendors working in the estate. It also has a total of six bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms.

The other highlights of the five-star hotel-like property are its own gym, lounge, library, gourmet kitchen, private parking space, and backyard.

Bang Si Hyuk notably founded HYBE, formerly Big Hit Entertainment. It has since become South Korea's largest music label and entertainment agency, breaking the records previously made by the K-pop industry's then-Big 3.

From managing a small entertainment company, Bang Si Hyuk grew to become the richest chairman in the K-pop industry.

According to Forbes, Bang Si Hyuk's net worth as of press time is $2.5 billion. He became a billionaire in October 2020, ranking him 16th in Korea's 50 richest people.

HYBE also secured a $1 billion deal to acquire Scooter Braun-headed Ithaca Holdings.

Before reaching the billionaire mark, Bang Si Hyuk began his career as a composer and songwriter. He soon met Park Jin Young, the founder of JYP Entertainment, after he won third place at the local competition Yoo Jae Ha Music Contest.

Bang Si Hyuk and Park Jin Young started working together, with the latter giving him the nickname Hitman Bang. He also worked on music performed by Rain, Wonder Girls, and more K-pop stars.

He started his own venture, Big Hit Entertainment, in 2005. The company almost went bankrupt in 2007 but was luckily saved by the ballad groups that debuted under the company: 2AM and 8 Eight.
