Have you been looking forward to the second season of Solar Opposites? Although it's still unclear when Season 2 will air, Hulu already has some good news. The network has just renewed the animated series for a third season.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Solar Opposites is getting a third season along with Crossing Swords, which was renewed for Season 2. In addition to that, Hulu released an announcement video to tease on the upcoming seasons of Solar Opposites. Check it out below.
This is great news for fans who have already been excited about the second season. In addition to that, it's proof that Fox Broadcasting Company had made a huge mistake in initially shelving the project before it was picked up by Hulu. Either way, we're glad to know that we'll be seeing more of Korvo and his family.
The synopsis for Solar Opposites reads as follows:
"Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth."
