How to Watch Bridgerton Season 2 Red Carpet Premiere Live

Netflix's Regency-era romance Bridgerton is back on the streaming platform this week for Season 2, and the streamer is holding a red carpet premiere in preparation of the show's big launch.

The Shonda Rhimes-produced series based on the novels by Julia Quinn follows the Bridgerton siblings as they search for love. In Season 2, the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) crosses paths with the Sharma family and sets his eyes on Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), a smart and headstrong young woman. However, Anthony's subsequent courtship of Kate's younger sister Edwina Sharma sparks drama and even more gossip (Lady Whistledown's take on events). The new season is based on Quinn's second book of her Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me.

With Bridgerton Season 2 set to arrive on the streaming platform this weekend, Netflix will be rolling out a red carpet premiere. The streaming giant has been inviting fans based in Manchester to the special event via Lady Whistledown's society papers, which were given out to commuters in St Ann's Square by Regency-era newspaper vendors. Each paper contained a golden ticket inviting people to apply for a chance to see the World Premiere.

For those who didn't get a ticket, there's still a way you can watch Bridgerton Season 2's red carpet premiere live.

The event is taking place at London's Tate Modern today, March 22 along with the cast in attendance on the red carpet.
