Classroom of the Elite’s 2nd Year arc introduced a lot of new first-year characters. One of these is the fearsome Kazuomi Hosen. Because of his imposing presence, Classroom of the Elite fans are wondering how tall Hosen is.
Many of the show’s characters have official heights, though these details are mostly limited to the characters who were introduced earlier in the series.
Despite Hosen’s height not being revealed officially yet, the illustrations featuring him do give fans a good idea.

Kazuomi Hosen: A Brutal New First-Year Student
Over the years, Classroom of the Elite has featured lots of characters with hot-blooded natures, though the new first-year student Kazuomi Hosen might just be the most aggressive.
Hosen was introduced in the light novel’s 2nd Year arc as a new Class 1-D student. Thus, he’s the lowerclassman of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and company.
Despite being in a lower year, that has not stopped Hosen from having some interactions with Ayanokoji’s class. As expected, Hosen’s interactions were violent in nature.
For instance, Hosen fought Ken Sudo and overpowered him. As Sudo is one of the strongest of the second years physically, this proves just how powerful Hosen is.
His power is also shown in his stature. Based on the cover of Volume 2 coupled with other illustrations, it’s clear that Hosen is an imposing figure that’s taller than the likes of Ayanokoji.

How Tall Is Hosen in Classroom of the Elite?
It’s not revealed yet how tall Hosen is, but he is likely several inches taller than Ayanokoji. This is based on the illustration where Hosen stabs Ayanokoji’s hand.
There, Hosen is shown lowering himself slightly to attack Ayanokoji. Even though his upper body is titled downward, he is still clearly taller than Ayanokoji.
Given that Ayanakoji is 5’ 9”, the speculation is that Hosen is possibly around 6’ 5”. His height probably isn’t freakishly tall enough to make him a seven-footer, but he seems to be in the mid to upper 6 feet range.
It’s hard to say for certain though, as the angles of his illustrations can obscure the scale of his height compared to others. Still, it’s safe to say that he’s one of the taller characters in the series.
Fans will have to wait a while before he is shown in the anime, as the ongoing Classroom of the Elite Season 3 is still covering the final volumes of the 1st year arc.
