Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is already in the works. However, the most beloved character from the franchise, Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) will not be part of the film.

However, according to Screenrant, it will be difficult to ignore his existence or bring him back. So, the case presents a serious problem for the creators.

Initially, after the first movie, Disney was worried about Depp's character in the series. However, the reviews singled out Depp's performance as the best thing in the movie. The series, eventually scored a sequel and the film started to focus more and more on Depp's character.

The outlet noted that the franchise cannot kill Depp's Jack Sparrow. Also, the franchise needs the character to maintain its appeal. Screencast believed that the series is caught in an inevitable catch-22 where mentioning Sparrow will fuel onscreen return and not mentioning him at all will likely infuriate viewers.
