The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest follows Mathias who is born as the world’s most powerful sage yet his strength is only limited to what the magical crest could give him and he finally decided to go through reincarnation which he deemed necessary to be able to become the strongest of all. When he got reborn, Mathias discovers that he is now with an optimal crest, but the world he entered has poor standards. Now, he has to prove that he is the best of all.
The anime adaptation of The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest is from the pages of the light novel series, Shikkakumon no Saikyō Kenja, written by Shinkoshoto with the illustrations of Huuka Kazabana which is published online on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, a user-generated publishing site, and it was later taken by SB Creative, with fourteen volumes to date.
The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest can be streamed online through Crunchyroll in its original Japanese audio with English subtitles where premium access subscribers enjoy the privilege of a one-week early access of the episodes of the shows in its library for the price of $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year. There is no news yet as regards the English dubbed version of the show.
