One of the most-awaited anime is My Dress-Up Darling. Also known as “The Bisque Doll That Fell in Love”, the anime was originally a manga that was illustrated and written by Shinichi Fukuda. It was serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan in 2018. As of October 2021, the manga can be collected in eight volumes.
With the manga’s popularity, CloverWorks decided to adapt the series into an anime. It made its premiere in January 2022, and the series received a great response from fans across the globe.
The series releases new episodes every Sunday on Tokyo MX and other networks. Muse Communication and Funimation acquired license over the series to stream the episodes as well. Fans now want to know how many episodes will My Dress-Up Darling have?

How Many Episodes Will My Dress-Up Darling Have?
It has been confirmed that My Dress-Up Darling will have a total of 12 episodes. The series will run in a single cour. As of this writing, the manga is still ongoing which is why fans can expect that the 12-episode anime will not be able to cover all the content.
Although there is still no announcement whether a season two will be made, fans can be hopeful as there is a lot of content to use. For those who have not watched or read My Dress-Up Darling, it is about two high-school students: Wakana Gojo and Marin Kitagawa.
Gojo’s family runs a business called Gojo Dolls wherein they make hina dolls. His grandfather introduced him into the world of being a craftsman, and he fell in-love with one of the dolls.
This made Gojo decide that he wanted to become a hina doll craftsman. He spent most of his time making clothes for the hina dolls. When he told his cousin about his love for the dolls, she showed how disappointed she was with him. From then on, he decided to keep it a secret.
On the other hand, Marin is a popular girl in school who likes lewd anime and video games. She is not afraid to tell people what she likes and was very open with it, unlike Gojo. She wanted to cosplay her favorite character but she is not knowledgeable about making clothes.
Once she found out that Gojo can make clothes for his dolls, she asked him if she could make an outfit for her. He agreed after he saw how passionate she was.
