How Many Episodes Will Engage Kiss Have?

A-1 Pictures' original anime Engage Kiss is one to watch out for this Summer 2022 anime season. Episode 1, which aired last July 2nd, wowed audiences with unbelievable animation but also left questions that would hopefully be answered in the following episodes. Read on for information on how many episodes Engage Kiss will have.

What is Engage Kiss All About?

Engage Kiss centers on Shuu Ogata, owner of a small PMC (Private Military Company), who never seems to have enough money to fend for himself.

Though the floating mega-city called Bayron City never runs out of demon extermination jobs for PMCs such as Shuu's, he is very picky about which ones he would take.

Luckily for him, Shuu has two heroines that support him: Kisara, a high school student who happens to be a high-ranking demon, and Ayano, Shuu's former colleague and ex-girlfriend who obviously still has feelings for him.

Kisara and Ayano not only support Shuu financially, they also help with his demon extermination jobs. Ayano was Shuu's senior at the PMC he previously worked for, while Kisara fights with her demon abilities.

With a single, lengthy kiss from Shuu, the demon girl is able to become her most powerful self. The trio are then able to defeat demons, albeit with a little more collateral damage than Shuu could afford.

So goes the tale of love, demons, and guns involving the three.

Engage Kiss is action, romance, comedy, sci-fi, and fantasy all rolled into one funny and beautifully animated series.

An original anime by A-1 Pictures, Engage Kiss is part of Aniplex's "Project Engage," along with a recently announced mobile game by Square Enix called Engage Kill.

How Many Episodes Will Engage Kiss Have?

According to the anime's official website, Engage Kiss will have a total of 13 episodes, which will be distributed over six Blu-ray and DVD volumes from September 2022 to February 2023.

If all goes well and the episodes are released as scheduled, Engage Kiss is expected to run weekly from July 2nd to September 24th, 2022.

There's no official word yet regarding the possibility of a second season for Engage Kiss, but we'll be on the lookout for any news and update you accordingly.
