The desperation leads to widespread theft and violence over both water and money.
Sick of the kingās greed, Sheriff Rao seeks help from the mysterious demons of Sand Land in a quest for a new water source.
Demon Prince Beelzebub and his ally Thief agree to become part of Raoās mission.
The trio then set out on an adventure to find the Legendary Spring hidden somewhere in the desert.
In this adventure, they will encounter several obstacles and fight against the evil king's army.

Sand Land the Series vs Film: Differences and Similarities
Sand Land's film adaptation premiered on August 18, 2023. Meanwhile, SAND LAND: THE SERIES continues the story from where the movie left off.
The source material of both the series and the film is the Sand Land manga, and the series elaborates on what the film has covered.
The 13-episode SAND LAND: THE SERIES will cover two arcs. The first arc, The Tale of the Fiend Prince, recounts the events depicted in the film adaptation of the manga.
Meanwhile, the second arc, The Tale of the Angelic Hero, is an original storyline crafted by none other than Toriyama himself.
The Tale of the Angelic Hero is set in the lush world of Forest Land.
This arc introduces two new characters named Ann and Muniel, who enter the vibrant world of Sand Land, adding to its intrigue and excitement.
