How Does Marvel and Kevin Feige Feel About Chris Evans Expressing His Political Views?

Fans weren't sure how to feel about Chris Evans as Captain America when he was cast but a few films later, the man is now inseparable from his Marvel persona. He went from being a typical pretty boy to a proud man who is willing to die for his people and it seems like Evans has always been this way if his political views are anything to go by.

But how does Marvel feel about him doing this? Or the head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige?

While an official statement from Marvel Studios wasn't given, Feige has done on record and stated that he loves what Evans does. Feige feels that Evans has become one with the character, as revealed in an extensive expo with The Hollywood Reporter.

Anyone who has followed Evans on social media knows that he tends to lean towards the left side of politics, which has often led to fights with MAGA members. One white supremacist even tried to shame Evans for dating women of color, even though he has also dated white women in the past.

Evans was quoted to saying this:

"Marvel has never said anything. On the contrary — when I bump into [Marvel Studios President] Kevin Feige the first thing out of his mouth is 'Man, I love what you're doing [on Twitter].'"

Here's what Feige had to say about Evans:

"I don't see it as trash-talking.I see it as very astute, very honorable, very noble, very Cap-like. Commentary and questioning. I've said to him, 'You're merging! You and the character are merging!'"

It's cool seeing Marvel and Feige stand up for Evans, especially since he tends to get a lot of hate from white supremacists. Then again, what else do you expect to see from Captain America?
