How Did Sudo Help Class C Win the First Event in Classroom of the Elite?
In Classroom of the Elite season 3 episode 11, the students are ready for the special exam. Each class is asked to choose five of the presented 10 subjects.
The subject for the first event, basketball, is chosen through the lottery system.
Three students each from Class A and Class C are selected for a basketball match.
Arisu Sakayanagi wonders if Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is intentionally keeping his ace, Sudo, in reserve.
Arisu then announced her captain's rule: the team can swap out one member at a chosen time.
Despite Sudo not being there, Class C seems to be going past Class A in the match. This is when Kiyotaka invokes the captains’ rule to swap members.
He announces that Sudo swaps in for Hondo Ryotaro. As soon as Sudo joined the team, Class C realized that Class A was deliberately going easy on them so that they could invoke the swapping rule.
Arisu notes that the tiniest of psychological blows would cause Sudo to crumble under pressure.
However, Kiyotaka intervenes and informs Arisu that Sudo is far from being mentally weak.
When the buzzer sounds, Class C emerges victorious in the basketball game against Class A, with a score of 16-14.
And that’s how Sudo did not crumble and ensured his team won the first event.
