What Happened in How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Episode 8?

In How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Episode 8, Forest, Rumbling, Kazuya realizes how different the technology of Japan is to Elfrieden which is short of laborers for the construction of the road network and he only has fifty soldiers, even including Kaede and Halbert to the number. When Kazuya inspected the road, he found that it would improve the transportation but he wants to make sure that the wildlife will not suffer.

Aisha just got word from her father, Chief Wodan, about a landslide at the God-Protected Forest and it buried half of their village. Because of this, Kazuya deployed his fifty soldiers and Liscia for the reinforcements. Since it will take two days to travel the forest by foot, Kazuya's troops had to travel with wagons pulled by earth dragons to make the journey easier.

He and his men started on the disaster rescue and through the use of the wooden mice under his control through magic, he was able to locate the missing elves, may they be dead or alive. Liscia's medical reinforcements arrived, including the rebuilders of the village and those cleaning up.

The brother of Wodan, Robthor, was devastated because of the loss of his wife and the injury of his daughter. Aisha told Kazuya that Robthor opposed the thinning of the trees. Because of this, Kazuya blamed himself for the lack of disaster preparedness.
