Kazuya's consciousness focus on copying a mascot it could possess which would join the adventurers to map out the tunnels underneath the kingdom. There was a salamander which made them flee and Yuno was saved by the mascot, therefore, developing a crush. The project Venetinova gets the funds thanks to the secretaries of Kazuya and they could build a new port off the coast and various roads.

However, when Kazuya paid a visit to Venetinova, there was a halt in the construction with Urup, a villain elder, who claims that the land is belonging to the God of the Sea, Kaijin, and a sea monster guards it. Kazuya deduced the legend which meant that the land is a dangerous place to build on since there is a tsunami that strikes some hundred years or so.

Because of this, he instructed earth mages to construct flood defenses and that ensures the safety of the people in the kingdom for more than thousands of years, which impressed Liscia.
