First reported by Giant Freakin Robot, the WandaVision star is said to be in talks for a potential role in Season 2 of the series. In a follow-up report, the oftentimes reliable Daniel Richtman has reported that not only is Olsen being considered for a role but Superman actor Henry Cavill is also being eyed for the second season. The specifics about their casting have yet to be disclosed.

As it stands, nothing has been officially confirmed yet but it's worth noting that the British actor has been rumored for both an MCU project and a return to the DCEU. We don't know how that would work out for him but it looks like Cavill will rule more than just one franchise soon.

Obviously, Cavill has already proven that he has what it takes in the fantasy genre following the success of The Witcher so he'd easily be a good fit for House of the Dragon. On the other hand, long before her casting as Wanda Maximoff, Olsen once tried out for the Daenerys Targaryen role and it's safe to say she's more than ready to join the franchise.

House of the Dragon is streaming on HBO Max.
