House of the Dragon Episode 3 Will Introduce First Villain Craghas Drahar Crabfeeder

The latest episode of House of the Dragon has been an exciting one but people are already looking forward to what will happen next Sunday. After all, the preview for House of the Dragon Episode 3 was been released right after the premiere of The Rogue Prince and it's hyping up the terrifying power of Craghas Drahar and the bloody War of the Stepstones!

There is another time jump confirmed in the House of the Dragon Episode 3 preview which appears to be about two or three years after King Viserys I Targaryen announced that he will marry Alicent Hightower. The teaser reveals that Alicent has given birth to a son called Aegon, hence the third episode's title Second of His Name.

Although the king is clearly pleased with his son, Rhaenyra Targaryen appears to be unhappy, especially when she is told that she will need to get married and bear children as well. However, that's not the only tense moment in the House of the Dragon Episode 3 preview.

At one point, Corlys Velaryon reports that the Crabfeeder is preparing for a siege on Bloodstone. "The matter of the Stepstones is regrettably urgent," he says. It doesn't take long before we see Corlys and Daemon Targaryen in action, fighting against the Triarchy.

Crabfeeder is Craghas Drahar, the Myrish prince admiral who works for the Triarchy and was mentioned briefly in the premiere episode of House of the Dragon. We got to see Crabfeeder in action albeit briefly in Episode 2 but we'll finally realize what other terrible things he is capable of later this Sunday.

House of the Dragon Episode 3 is titled Second of His Name, a direct reference to Aegon II Targaryen, the son of King Viserys I Targaryen. The new episode will premiere on HBO on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 9:00 PM EST.
