Though we only got glimpses of Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) homemade Spidey suit in Civil War and the Homecoming trailer, we've never really gotten a chance to see it in detail. Thanks to Hot Toys, however, we get a detailed look at Spider-Man's DIY suit, and it looks pretty cool.
It's fun to see that Peter Parker's suit was sophisticated in its very own right before Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) handed Peter an upgraded Spider-Man outfit. Besides the webshooters, the eyes on the suit also adjust and move on their own, allowing Spider-Man to be more expressive onscreen. Of course, Peter has explained that he needed the goggles to help him focus, but it's still a cool aesthetic feature nonetheless.
Since we see the homemade suit in the Homecoming trailer, it's possible that we might be getting a flashback of Peter's early Spider-Man days before Tony Stark found him. Then again, I'm betting that Tony will confiscate Peter's upgraded suit after a fiasco, then he would have to go face the Vulture in his own original costume. It's just a theory.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine ā distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man ā but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is slated for a release on July 7.
