Heroines Run the Show Episode 1: First Impressions
Heroines Run the Show is an original anime based on VOCALOID music by the virtual idol anime duo LIPxLIP. The show follows Hiyori Suzumi, a girl who leaves her rural hometown for the city to continue pursuing her dream career. But to do so, she needs a part-time job. Her job hunting leads her to become a manager for a boy idol group, who happen to be her classmates.
As it turns out, the group consists of Yuujirou Someya and Aizou Shibasaki, who are also her classmates! The school anime by studio Lay-duce follows her struggles as she balances life, school, and a part-time job working with her idol classmates!
In the first episode, our protagonist's relationship with the two boys is rocky, to say the least. For the time being, they are very much not nice to her, though this is very likely to change, as we expect them to show hidden depths in the future. Refreshingly, Hiyori has no trouble befriending her female classmates and making a life for herself separate from her job!
