Here's When Utada Hikaru's Kingdom Hearts 3 Song is Getting Released

Utada Hikaru has provided a number of songs for the Kingdom Hearts series, most of which are pretty memorable. While it will be hard to top Simple and Clean from the first game, fans will be hoping that her song for Kingdom Hearts 3 surpasses it, or at the least, is catchy and fun to sing along to.

Chikai, the Japanese name of the Kingdom Hearts 3 theme song, will be coming out on June 27, along with the rest of Hikaru's album, according to Hikaru's official website. There is still no release date for the English version of the song, though that will likely be revealed when the game is near release.

While the games are usually filled with remixes of Disney or Final Fantasy songs, Hikaru's songs for the series have been favorites of the fans. Simple and Clean is probably still the most popular song since it was the first one and is really easy to sing along to.

At least Hikaru's album has a release date. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Kingdom Hearts 3, which still has a vague 2018 release window. Everyone is hoping that the game's official release date will be revealed during this year's E3.
