Here’s What Peggy Carter Would Have Done If She Could Have Faced Thanos

Peggy Carter might have passed away before Avengers: Infinity War, but if she were still around to help, Hayley Atwell thinks that Agent Carter would also do everything that she could in the battle against the Mad Titan Thanos.

Speaking at a panel during the Ace Comic Con in Seattle last weekend (via ComicBook.com), Atwell was asked b a young fan what Agent Carter would have done to deal with Thanos had she been alive during Infinity War. Though it's pretty hard imagining an ordinary human being able to last very long in the face of the Mad Titan, especially when Thanos gains all six Infinity Stones, Atwell says that Carter could have thought up of some plan.

"First of all, I think she should be allowed to age. We don't need to make her any younger than she is," Atwell started, bringing in cheers from fans at the panel.

According to Atwell, Peggy would take advantage of Thanos' sensitivity and find a way to disarm him emotionally instead of physically.

"You know how with Thanos you can see this tormented man working through his own kind of moral compass. There's like this sensitivity about him that's required when he's got to kill his own daughter. I think there must be an Achilles' heel in there somewhere. There must be some sort of way there to disarm him that's not physical," the British actress went on.

"I think she's maybe just give him a therapy session. I think she would help him celebrate his differences. I think she would give him a little red lipstick and say that it works wonders for me when I'm having a bad day," Atwell said.

Still, Thanos seems like a callous villain with a fixed mindset. He might seem a bit sensitive, but there's no changing the Mad Titan's mind really. Besides, it's not like any of the Avengers really understood Thanos' psyche outside his daughters, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula (Karen Gillan). As lovely as Atwell's plan sounds, we're not quite sure that it'd work. Nice try though.
