Matt Reeves' The Batman has most of its plot kept under wraps. When news about Reeves looking for a person of color to play Catwoman was out, fans are trying to piece together the actress that best fits the role.

Reports say that Reeves would be adapting the science fiction novel titled Way Station for the movie. However, production hasn't started yet and up till now, this is the only information we know about the plot.

Word is going around with regards to the casting rumors, starting with Commissioner Jim Gordon to be played by Westworld Fame's Jeffrey Wright. As well as 21 Jump Street star Jonah Hill, rumored to play either The Riddler or Penguin.

Catwoman's character, on the other hand, has a list of potential actresses for the role. The shortlist includes Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o, Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson, Beauty and The Beast's Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Dark Phoenix's Alexandra Shipp, and Dear White People star Logan Browning.

It looks like some people prefer Browning to be cast for the role since a new fanart has emerged which shows the actress as Selina Kyla a.k.a Catwoman.

In a fanmade image, artist Imaginative Hobbyist shared a mock-up photo of the said actress. Seen in the photo is Browning wearing Catwoman's iconic leather suit whilst holding a whip. See photo below:

Along with the photo, the artist says, "Logan Browning seems to be the popular choice on the internet from the rumored shortlist of actress that are being looked at for Catwoman in Matt Reeves' The Batman. Here is a concept of how she could look as the character."

Fans loved the work and even the actress herself. Acknowledging the artist's talent in turning her into Catwoman, Browning replied, "this is incredible."

The Batman will star Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and it premieres June 2021.
