Here’s What Jude Law Could Look Like As Captain Marvel

Yesterday, word broke out that Marvel was in talks with Jude Law for the role of the classic superhero Mar-Vell in the studio's very first female-led superhero movie, Captain Marvel.

While Marvel's selection is both surprising and unexpected, we're pretty excited to see Law as the Kree hero. Now, popular celebrity graphic artist BossLogic has a new piece of art that gives fans a look at what Law might look like if he played the role of Mar-Vell.

Based on the classic design of the character, BossLogic's version of Mar-Vell looks a lot less like Law. There's still no knowing whether Law's going to take on the classic look though, or whether Marvel's going to have him dress up in the Kree soldier's armor.

There isn't that much information about Captain Marvel just yet, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige did tell fans during this year's San Diego Comic-Con that Brie Larson's solo movie would be set in the 90's before the Avengers started getting together. The film would also feature shapeshifting aliens called the Skrulls.

Mar-Vel will serve as Carol Danvers' mentor, teaching her how to use her superpowers in the upcoming movie.

Captain Marvel is expected to start production next year and the film is slated for release on March 8, 2019.
