Here’s The Exact Time When Star Wars: Episode IX’s Trailer Drops

Lucasfilm is releasing the very first full trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker today. The only question left is what time can fans expect the trailer to finally make the rounds online.

Star Wars fans have been waiting for so long for Lucasfilm to drop the very first full trailer for Episode IX, and now that it's been confirmed that the video is coming out during tonight's Monday Night Football on ESPN, everyone wants to know the exact time when the trailer is going to arrive.

According to a report by Screen Rant, fans who don't have any plans to watch the matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets just to catch the new trailer for The Rise of Skywalker can expect the video to release sometime between 9:30 to 10:00 pm EDT. The exact period will depend on the speed of the first half of the upcoming Monday Night Football game, but the site says that the 8:20 start time should ensure that the trailer drops within the window provided.


There's a whole lot of excitement over the new trailer for Episode IX. Lucasfilm may have been releasing teasers and various images taken from the movie, however, the studio has yet to market the film in earnest. Star Wars fans want to know more about what to expect from the film – not only does The Rise of Skywalker serve as the final entry in Lucasfilm's Star Wars sequel trilogy, it also serves as the final chapter in the Skywalker saga.
