COVID-19 has ground the Marvel Studios machine to a halt, and instead of May, it looks like Phase 4 will be making its debut in November. With Eternals and Black Widow pushed back though, Disney has announced the new release dates for the rest of the MCU lineup for Phase 4.

According to Disney, the new release dates are:

Black Widow – Nov. 6

Eternals – Feb. 12, 2021

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – May 7, 2021

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness – Nov. 5, 2021

Thor: Love and Thunder – Feb. 18, 2021

Disney had also announced two Phase 5 films which will be coming out in 2022. The Black Panther sequel is now aiming for a release on May 6, 2022, and Captain Marvel 2 is coming out on July 8, 2022.

We don't have any announcements for the new release windows of the Disney+ shows like Loki and WandaVision, but it's possible we could get something soon.

This is certainly going to be a huge bummer for MCU fans, but it's probably for the best seeing that the whole world is trying its hardest to try and flatten the Coronavirus curve. We know that a lot of companies want the business to resume as usual as soon as possible, but with these new dates, it seems that we could be looking at things to continue way past June.

Then again, we don't know what the world is going to be like by May. Hopefully, things get better by then. In the meantime, keep safe at home, wash your hands, and if you have to go out, practice social distancing.

Black Widow is now set for a release this coming Nov. 6.
