Here’s How DC Fans Have Been Reacting To Birds Of Prey’s First Teaser

Warner Brothers just dropped the first look teaser of the DC Extended Universe's Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) this morning, and it looks like fans are more than hyped for the all-girl comic book movie.

It's certainly been a busy week for DC fans. Suicide Squad's Harley Quinn star Margot Robbie just recently shared a photo of herself in her character's new costume for Birds of Prey. Not long after that, a 20-second long video made its way online, giving fans their first look at Jurnee Smollett-Bell's Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Huntress, Ella Jay Basco's Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez' Renee Montoya, Ewan McGregor's Black Mask, and Chris Messina's Victor Zsasz.

While the teaser release was pretty surprising considering the fact that Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has just had two weeks of production, fans are totally hyped for the film.

Here are some of the best reactions that fans have been posting up on Twitter:

Though the teaser doesn't give away too many details of the upcoming DCEU installment, it does seem to promise a better tone and angle than Suicide Squad. While the film did rake in a lot of money for WB, Suicide Squad was poorly received by fans and critics who described it as a poorly written series of music videos stitched together to form a movie.

Now, with Cathy Yan in charge of Birds of Prey, fans are hoping for a wild and fun comic book movie.

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) premieres February 7, 2020.
