Henry Cavill Stands Strong As Marvel’s Adam Warlock In New Image

The appearance of Adam Warlock might have been teased during the end credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, however, Marvel has yet to cast an actor for the role.

Now, as Marvel approaches Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans and artists name various artists for the role, and it looks like DC's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill has been included in the list.

Taking to Twitter, popular fan artist Boss Logic just shared a new art piece imagining Man of Steel and The Witcher actor Henry Cavill as Marvel's new Adam Warlock. Confident and commanding, Cavill definitely arrests attention as the perfect human.

For the uninitiated, Adam Warlock /Him was created as the perfect human being by a group of researches called the "Beehive." Resisting control from his creators, Adam Warlock lashed out, and then escaped.

Warlock plays a significant role in many comic book arcs, including the Infinity War saga where the perfect being leads the Earth's remaining heroes against Thanos after the Mad Titan uses the Infinity Gauntlet to kill half of the universe's living population. In the comics, it is Warlock who obtains the Infinity Gauntlet and then uses its power to undo the destruction caused by the Mad Titan.

While it's such a shame that Adam Warlock was never introduced in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie, many are still eager to see Him make his way to the MCU. Hopefully he's finally introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Marvel's latest film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, comes swinging into cinemas July 2, 2019.
