Though a lot of fanboys think that his portrayal could use some work, Henry Cavill was spot-on casting as Superman, and he'll be returning from the grave by the time Justice League hits theaters. Though we haven't been getting any official looks from Superman from the movie, there's this cool picture of Cavill on the set of Batman v Superman taking a picture with a copy Action Comics #1.

Check it out:

If it hasn't been made clear enough, Action Comics #1 was the issue where Superman made his official debut, and a copy of it in great condition could cost upwards of $4 million! The issue introduces Superman himself, his powers, and his love interest Lois Lane.

Two movies in, and fans are still complaining about when they're going to see the "positive" and "hopeful" Superman that they know so well from the comics. So far we've only seen Cavill's Kal-El be dark and brooding, but hopefully his character fully realizes itself by the time Justice League comes out.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
