Henry Cavill Kicks Ass in New Clip from Netflix’s The Witcher

There's a lot of hype on #ReleaseTheSnyderCut right now, but you know who isn't participating? Superman himself, Henry Cavill. Cavill is busy doing PR for the release of Netflix's The Witcher adaptation, and just in we have a short clip of Geralt of Rivia kicking ass.

Check it:

Admittedly a lot of people aren't a fan of the cuts for this clip, saying that the editing is shoddy, but some say that this was on purpose because the actual fight scene on the show is actually a lot more bloody.

With Game of Thrones ending earlier this year, a lot of fans are looking for the next adult fantasy franchise, and it looks like Netflix is ready to deliver with Witcher. Early reviews for the show have been praising how much wilder it is than Game of Thrones, so you can imagine the hype that's being built up.

If anything, Netflix looks to have faith in The Witcher seeing as they already renewed the show for a second season. We don't know when they'll start shooting it, but I have my fingers crossed that Cavill will have enough time in his schedule to work on Superman; that is if WB has finally found out something to do with the Last Son of Krypton. Fingers crossed Cavill gets to work with J.J. Abrams who is said to be taking over the next Superman film.

We don't know when Superman will return, but you can catch Geralt of Rivia when he arrives on Netflix Dec. 20.
