Henry Cavill Has Huge Demands if Warner Bros. Wants Him Back as Superman

With Ben Affleck officially leaving his Batman role, fans are wondering if Henry Cavill will be doing the same for Superman, especially after rumors of the actor leaving the franchise. It's not yet known if Cavill will continue playing Superman since there are still no plans for a Man of Steel sequel or a second Justice League film. Fans are hoping for both but if Warner Bros. wants him back, they'll essentially have to treat him like Superman as well. Kind of.

According to a report from Revenge of the Fans, Cavill has a list of demands that must be fulfilled if the studio wants the actor to reprise his role as Superman. Most of us expected a pay raise, which is a part of the deal, but he also wants the power to approve directors and scripts, along with a producer credit for a potential Man of Steel sequel.

On one hand, this is pretty demanding and it's somewhat understandable why Warner Bros. wouldn't want to fulfill this. On the other hand, Cavill has been in movies that have gotten mixed to bad reviews ever since he started the DCEU and was the butt of many jokes after the whole CGI mustache fiasco so he obviously wants to be treated better. Yikes.

Currently, it's very he-said she-said but if Cavill's people let this slip on purpose then it might force Warner Bros. to fulfill some of those demands. Should the two parties come to a compromise then we could be seeing Cavill as Superman again. If not, then there's always that rumored Supergirl movie.

Shazam, the latest DCEU film, comes out this April.
