Amid Henry Cavill making his official exit from the DCU, fans are quick to claim numerous roles the Man of Steel actor could star in, instead. One of those roles happened to be transferring to Marvel Studios where he could be Brian Braddock aka Captain Britain, or Hyperion who is often regarded as Marvel’s Superman in the fanbase (1969). However, an old fan-favorite speculation resurfaces as fans bring up the possibility of Cavill landing the next James Bond role.

Ever since Daniel Craig’s last film in the James Bond franchise, his last being No Time To Die, Cavill was next in line to claim the throne, according to fans. In fact, even Cavill seems interested to be in talks for the role if he were ever offered the part.
“Yeah, I’m quite busy now. I love those guys, Barbara and Mike… Whether I’m considered for the role or not, I don’t know.” Cavill previously said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, “But it’d be fun to have the conversation, for sure. And if I’m not, then I just want to see what they do with it next, because I think they’re amazing.”
While Henry Cavill fans are trying their best to patiently wait for more updates on his next upcoming gigs aside from the Warhammer 40K project on Amazon, fans took to Twitter in voicing out that the Sherlock Holmes star be casted as the next James Bond. Check out the fan tweets below:
It would be interesting if the James Bond role were to fall into Cavill’s hands. Should the day ever come, his Superman exit might have brought him the luck he needed in getting casted for other prominent roles aside from DC he would want to portray.
