Fans may have mixed thoughts about next year's Hellboy reboot but there's no doubt that what we've been able to see thus far has been very impressive. The makeup on David Harbour's version of Hellboy alone has been a sight to behold, looking just like the comic book character, with a bit more muscle. While we wait for the 2019 film to come out, the studio has released a new look at Harbour in the character's gear.
Empire Online released the first official look at the character and he continues to look great. While the picture isn't exactly dynamic - he's just running in the hallway like action man #156 - the makeup on the actor continues to look impressive. Hopefully, we get more images of the rest of the cast, including Milla Jovovich's villain character.

Here's what director Neil Marshall had to say about the movie:
"It was always a case of, ‘When in doubt, go back to the source material.' Some of the stuff is pretty sick. More violent and more bloody. We weren't making it with handcuffs on."
While the two movies made by Guillermo del Toro have a lot of fans, comic book readers are hoping that this reboot gives them the more macabre side of the character. The studio has promised fans that this will be a gritty R-rated reboot, so we can expect a lot of blood and gore when this particular "superhero" movie comes out.
Currently, Hellboy is slated for an April 12, 2019 release. The film is a reboot and will have no connections to the previous movies.
