The Korean drama and film industry has been in an uproar especially after the release of the phenomenal Netflix series Squid Game. Now, Netflix is yet again unveiling another masterpiece that will further steady the popularity of Kdramas and Korean films.
Hellbound is an upcoming series that has been invited to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Actively making headlines even before its premiere, Hellbound has been hailed as “the next Korean Netflix series to watch out for” which heightens anticipation and expectation for the drama’s release.
In particular, the Yoo Ah In-starred series was shown at the 26th Busan International Film Festival on October 7, 2021. As well as taking part in the “Thrill” section of the 65th BFI London Film Festival on October 15, 2021, with episodes 1, 2, and 3 successfully making their debut.

Hellbound Release Date
The intriguing Kdrama Hellbound is set to premiere on November 19, 2021. The series is directed by Yeon Sang Ho, who also worked with the 2016 blockbuster Korean zombie film Train To Busan and its sequel Peninsula.
Hellbound will be available through online streaming on the global platform Netflix and is expected to consist of a total of 6 episodes with an approximate runtime of 150 minutes each. The series will have English subtitles available for international viewers.

Hellbound is a forthcoming Netflix series based on a webtoon of the same name penned by its own director, Yeon Sang Ho. The imminent Kdrama will take place in an imaginary world where creatures formed by a supernatural phenomenon suddenly come to Earth and starts taking away people to condemn them down to scorching hell.
Hellbound sees people receiving predictions about their coming end and a specific date of their demise through a death angel. Despite countless trials to escape death, it chases after people until their time is up.
Huge attention is focused on Yoo Ah In’s character as he portrays a cult leader who speaks about the revelation from God and the phenomenon that death angels from Hell will come to Earth.
