After a number of teasers thanks to the listings over in Japan, Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine has finally confirmed that a new television anime for the Hell Girl (a.k.a. Jigoku Shoujo) franchise will arrive.

The project has already been green-lit for production, and it even has a working title released. The new season will be called Jigoku Shoujo Yoi no Togi. One point of concern from someone who has already seen the previous anime seasons.

For this one, there will be a total of 12-episode altogether. However, six of these will be ones while the others will be known as "reminiscence" episodes. From the looks of that, it's possible that used material from before will be unearthed. We already know the background stories of Ai's crew has already been discussed.

Everyone except for Michiru will be back for the new season, Anime News Network reported. This gives us the full list of names involved in the new Hell Girl production:

Mamiko Noto as Ai Enma
Takayuki Sugo as Wanyuudou
Takako Honda as Hone-Onne
Masaya Matsukaze as Ren Ichimoku
Hekiru Shiina as Yamawaro
Kanako Sakai as Kikuri
Misaki Watada as Michiru

Apart from the voice actors, some of the production team are also coming back, such as Hiroshi Watanabe, Takahiro Omori, and Mariko Oka.

The new Hell Girl anime is expected to open in Japan via the MBS, Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 sometime in July.
